A Sunflower Affair

The Sunflower is considered the happiest of all flowers and means loyalty and longevity. It seems as though I am describing the perfect marriage.  No wonder the love affair that exists between the blushing bride and the warmth and happiness of the sunflower.  I too have a love affair with the sunflower. I've painted painted it on stemware, glassware and terracotta pots. 

Here I've painted both the stemware and decanter as an unfolding sunflower; the bumblee on the decanter is scooping down to taste its rich nectar.  For that touch of class simply add the entire sunflower collection to the head table at a sunflower themed wedding or even consider just using a few decanters as centerpieces at a wine country wedding. Having a rustic or garden wedding? Then add a series of these sunflower terracotta pots as centerpieces to help set the mood.

The radiant glow of the sunflower will forever beam its light in the hearts of the blushing bride and will always entice me.
